On Wednesday, September 16th at 9 pm in the Auditorium Del Suffragio there’s the first performance in Lucca of “Enoch Arden”, ​​melodrama for piano and narrator op. 38 by Richard Strauss to words by Tennyson. Performers are Dario Garofalo (narrator) and Carlo Palese (piano).

The event is part of the OPEN GOLD Festival sponsored by Lucca’s “L. Boccherini” Music Institute, which is held annually in September with internationally renowned artists. Information and complete program at www.boccherini.it. The concert is free entry.
