2016 marks Gaetano Giani Luporini’s 80th birthday. He is a multifaceted artist who has expressed himself not only in music but also in painting and poetry. For this occasion the AML is organizing a series of events organised by Fabrizio Giovannelli and dedicated to the great artist with the title “Gaetano Giani Luporini e la sua arte”. The four events involve the collaboration of Lucca’s Rotary Club.
On Thursday, February 25th , at 5 pm there’s an open lesson on Gaetano Giani Luporini as teacher, in collaboration with the “Boccherini” ISSM, on the Geometrie e inversioni contrappuntistiche treatise by the Luccan composer.
