THE QUARTETTO DI VENEZIA AT PIEVE A ELICI

Ten concerts, two months of high-quality music in a breathtaking setting! In the church of St. Pantaleone, in Pieve a Elici, on the Versilia hills of Massarosa, the Chamber Music Festival of Versilia returns for the 49th time. It’s organized by the Municipality of Massarosa and the Associazione Musicale Lucchese. A programme of international guests includes Alexander Kobrin, Pietro De Maria, Sergey Krylov, the Trio di Parma, Kirill Troussov, Alexandra Troussova and Enrico Dindo. Concerts begin at 9.15 pm.
Underlining the value of the event, there’s a prestigious media partnership with Amadeus music magazine, Rai Radio 3 and Sky Classic HD.

On Sunday, July 24, the Festival hosts the Quartetto di Venezia who will perform Mozart’s Adagio and Fugue in C minor K 546 and Beethoven’s quartets no. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op.131 and no 11 in F minor op.95.
