On Friday, September 11th at 9 pm in the Church of San Salvatore (piazza Della Misericordia) there’s a concert by the Women’s Choir of the city of Portoscuso, Carbonia province, Iglesias, Sardinia.  The event is included in the 2015 programme “Sui Sentieri della musica “, now in its thirteenth year. The Sardinian female choir, directed by Maestro Andrea Medda, performs a vast repertoire ranging from folk songs to contemporary Sardinian music. As per tradition, the guest choir will be welcomed by the Lucchese vocal group “Il Baluardo “directed by Elio Antichi, who will present songs from popular repertoire accompanied on guitar by Gabriele Cinquini and on keyboard by Tiziano Mangani. Free admission.
