Every year, the “Alfredo Catalani” Music Circle, on the death anniversary of the Luccan composer whose name it bears, organizes in Santa Maria Nera (Corteorlandini) the annual votive mass in memory of Alfredo Catalani will be celebrated, on Friday, August 7 at 11 am, with music by Handel, Mozart, Puccini, and Mascagni and at the end, as usual, Verdi’s “Virgin of the Angels”. Singers are soprano Ilaria Casai and bass Graziano Polidori. At the Harmonium is Stefano Teani.
