The Sagra Musicale Lucchese, the longest running festival in the city of Lucca, and one of the most prestigious regional musical events, organized by the City, Province, and the Archdiocese of Lucca with the support of the Foundation and CRL sponsorship of Oleificio Rocchi, is presenting four concerts in June. On Saturday, June 13th AT 6 pm, at the Oratorio della Madonnina (via Carrara, zona porta San Pietro) listening Guide by Paolo Razzuoli to Marianna Bottini’s Symphony and Requiem Mass, performed live in San Giovanni on the 9 June 2007 with the Santa Cecilia Chapel Choir, Luigi Boccherini Orchestra. Soloists: Maria Luigia Borsi (soprano), Anastasia Boldyreva (mezzo soprano), Samuele Simoncini (tenor), Giuseppe Altomare (baritone). Conductor: Gianfranco Cosmi.
