Ten concerts, two months of high-quality music in a breathtaking setting! In the church of St. Pantaleone, in Pieve a Elici, on the Versilia hills of Massarosa, the Chamber Music Festival of Versilia returns for the 49th time. It’s organized by the Municipality of Massarosa and the Associazione Musicale Lucchese. A programme of international guests includes Alexander Kobrin, Pietro De Maria, Sergey Krylov, the Trio di Parma, Kirill Troussov, Alexandra Troussova and Enrico Dindo. Concerts begin at 9.15 pm.
Underlining the value of the event, there’s a prestigious media partnership with Amadeus music magazine, Rai Radio 3 and Sky Classic HD.

On Sunday 7th Kirill Troussov (violin) and Alexandra Troussova (piano), return to perform for the Lucchese Music Association after their great success at Lucca’s Classical Music Festival last May. The programme includes Prokofiev’s Sonata no. 2 op. 94, Schnittke’s Suite in the old style, Shchedrin’s In the Style of Albeniz, Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky.
