‘Cluster’, Lucca’s association of contemporary music, is now starting its eighth autumn season. This will be full of varied initiatives and fifteen events spotlighting world famous artists, production exchanges with other countries and the publication of new books and recordings.

Wednesday, October 26, at the LuccaLibri Literary Café, at 5.30 pm there’s a presentation of Cristina Donnini’s new book on “Federico Mompou: the charm of the ineffable”. This is a biography and analysis of works by the Catalan composer and pianist (Barcelona 1893-1987), which will be illustrated by the author on the piano and with recordings of Mompou’s songs.
