Now in its twenty-second season, the ‘Domenico Lorenzo’ Association this year presents four recitals performed on historical organs in the Lucchesia with the support of the Cassa di Risparmio di San Miniato S.p.A. and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca. The season ends on Wednesday, October 19 at 9.15 pm in the church of St. Stefano, with the ‘Gesualdo Consort of Gesualdo’ chorus accompanied by organist Daniele Boccaccio (see photo), who will perform music by Pietro Vinci (Sonetti spirituali, in the version for choir and organ) and other authors of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries on the precious Zeffirini Onofrio organ which dates from 1551.
