For three days Lucca will be filled with music. From Friday May 6th to Sunday May 8th it’s the second year of the “Lucca Classica Music Festival “, organized by the AML, the Lucchese Musical Association and the Teatro del Giglio with the collaboration of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca and the prestigious media partnership of Amadeus magazine and Rai Radio 3. Hundreds of musicians will participate in over fifty events in squares, museums, palaces and the most beautiful cities churches in a program covering many areas, bringing music to every corner of the city and involving everyone, both young and old.

On Friday, May 6th, at 9.15 pm, at the Teatro Del Giglio there’s a concert by the Philharmonica Arturo Toscanini with two exceptional soloists: Andrea Lucchesini piano and Mario Brunello (see photo), both as a cellist and conductor of the orchestra. The program consists of music by Saint Saens.
