The “Alfredo Catalani” circle of friends of music from Lucca and Porcari, with the “Fondazione Simonetta Puccini “, organizes on Sunday, November 15th, at 3.30 pm at the Villa Museo Puccini of Torre del Lago (LU), a vocal and instrumental concert entitled “Domenica Pucciniana” with soprano Raffaella Angeletti, and pianist Federica Bianchi. Using the historic and prestigious piano (with “dampers” to play at night), where Giacomo Puccini composed many of his works, they will perform music by Alfredo Catalani and Giacomo Puccini. The concert will be accompanied by the reading of comments and historical notes by Maria Bicchi, and will be followed by a visit to the museum and the villa’s recently restored bedroom.
