The “Lucca – i giorni di Puccini – Lucca Puccini Days”, festival which opens on November 13th and ends on January 10 is an event that, under Giacomo Puccini’s umbrella title, offers a great variety of musical experiences, ranging from opera to sacred music and from jazz to film music.
On December 6th at 6 pm, in Casermetta San Colombano on the city walls, there’s a concert entitled “A night at the opera” with Giovanni Dagnino’s singing class from the “Luigi Boccherini” Music Institute. The program includes music by Donizetti, Verdi and Puccini.
