Ties with the younger generation are strengthened by the series of concerts and meetings cycle the AML dedicates to pupils and students in Lucca’s schools. Organized by Carla Nolledi, some of the Sunday concert performers will meet children and explain music to them in a new and informal manner, introducing new generations to a genre not always familiar to them.
On Saturday, May 6th, at the Lucca Classical Music Festival, at 4 pm, in Lucca’s Baluardo San Colombano on the city walls, there’s a show entitled “Me and Luigi are true friends”, with a band concert by Piccolo Complesso Fiorentino conducted by Marco Mangani, with pupils from the schools that have joined the “Me and Luigi are true real friends” project.
